He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building. Martin holds visiting professorial positions in the University of Loughborough, UK and University of Hawaii, US and was engaged by the Australian Royal Commission into the Building Industry, advising on international workplace reform and productivity. He advises a wide range of major private and public sector organisations and NGOs in Australia, Middle East and Asia and has published over 100 articles and four international books in risk management, crisis management, facilities management, occupational health and safety and human resource management.
