Imriyas is a Lecturer, specialising in ICT Applications in Construction. He is a Quantity Surveyor by undergraduate training and holds an MPhil and a PhD in Construction Management. Imriyas has experience in researching and working in various countries. He has worked as a cost consultant and a researcher before becoming a full-time academic. He has also worked for the World Bank as a short-term consultant. Imriyas is an active researcher, and his research interests include: E-project Management, Knowledge Management Systems, and Knowledge-based Systems with the main focus of construction management. He has authored one scholarly book and numerous articles in international refereed journals and conferences. He is also an editorial board member of the International Journal of Construction Project Management and a regular reviewer for many leading international journals in the field.
