Whilst my formal training is as a Landscape architect my experience engenders may fields of practice. I have been instrumental in organising and running many international conferences and urban design competitions. I worked as competitions and exhibitions coordinator for the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, during which time liased with many government agencies including DPWS, RTA, DOT, OCA and SOCOG, on a regular basis. I have lectured in urban design and landscape architecture and been a jury member at RMIT and University of Sydney. Since 1997 I have maintained an active role in the Faculty of the Built Environment teaching design and communication subjects. In 2001 I managed the Parramatta Road urban design competition for IMROC and the Pattern Book case studies for DUAP through their business unit, UDAS.
Teaching
I am currently writing and teaching the Design Fundamentals and Digital Communications subjects at UNSW, which cover all aspects of design and design theory.
