brief The initial brief was very open and effectively only asked for a university to be put on either of two sites. Wentworth Park, shown opposite was the one we chose. As a group this had to redefined. Therefore our university catered for the Performing and Liberal Arts. This was for 2500 students. The buildings located on campus include library, administration, student union, faculty buildings and studios, workshops, retail outlets, light rail station, theatre, restauraunt, gallery and colleges. This came about because of the sites proximity to Glebe, where a range of artistic people reside. Also a university that caters only for the arts does not exist in Sydney. The restauraunt and gallery perform a vital part of the university as it allows for the students to exhibit their works. The gallery is to store permanent works from a range of artists not just those attending the university. It stores a diverse range of work form ceramic, sculpture, paintings, video etc. The restaurant is patron waited and contains a bar.
