PHD
The focus of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is on developing
a student’s expert knowledge in a chosen field
of research, along with their research, critical
and creative thinking, and problem solving skills.
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree is a research degree
comprising 144 Units of Credit. While the degree is awarded on the
basis of a substantial written thesis, some concurrent coursework
studies in research methods and other areas relevant to the chosen
topic may be required depending on individual cases. The aims of such
concurrent coursework are to enhance students' knowledge in the chosen
field of research.
