This is a collection of images produced by Architecture and Industrial students, between 1990 and 1994, under the direction of Stephen Peter.

Rayshade is a Ray-Tracing application written by Craig Kolb and Rod Bogart.

Note that in the sections below "S1" refers to Session 1....


General Architectural Collection

The images in this collection are a selection of the images created by students at the School of Architecture. Most of the images are of spaces designed by the student, though some are of spaces designed by others. A small number of images are semi-abstract (and usually not of an architectural space :-).

Abstract Architectural Collection

The images in this collection are a selection of the images created by students at the School of Architecture. During 1992 the subject Advanced Graphics was offered by Stephen Peter, and involved the students using Rayshade to produce abstract "artistic" images.

Industrial Design Collection

These images were produced by Industrial Design students; most are images of objects designed by the student (in their previous year), some students were unable to use their previous work, because it was either too simple or too complex.

Special Projects Collection

"Special Projects" are generally research projects undertaken by one (or two) students, the projects included here are those that have produced Rayshade images!
