Dining Design
It was an interactive exhibit organized by international restaurant designer Adam Tihany. The heart of the Dining Design exhibit was the ‘street of restaurants’ each designed by a leading design university. The eateries were provocative and interactive and had the local Milanese queuing to dine at one of ten futuristic restaurants. Each university was assigned a theme, a pizzeria in Kyoto, a karaoke sushi bar in Lausanne a Chinese restaurant in Rome, and each university was partnered with an Italian manufacturer.
The ten restaurants were furnished and constructed by leading Italian manufacturer such as: Dada, Moroso, Kartell, Magis, Sawaya & Moroni, Meritalia, and Poliform. The companies devoted time, finances and most importantly enthusiasm to supporting this event. Our appointed manufacturer Dada, provided us with eager expert construction.
