Seeing is the physical act of perception.
This project has been generated from the basic rules of vision to transform a physical space into a real time 3d space.
The project is aimed to allow any viewer, anywhere in the world to be able to experience this virtual space over the Internet. The idea behind real time renderings is to take architectural visualisations a step further allowing full freedom of navigation of the site or property before it is built.
Real time rendering is all about creating a lifelike experience for the viewer. This project was created to show the structural differences after renovations had been done to the client’s home.
The main tool used for this project was 3d max and Eon/Virtools for the scripting and publishing. One of the key aspects of this project was the use of real time shaders. With this technology, realistic reflections, glass, and metals can be applied to objects within the 3d space giving a more realistic experience to the user.
