Hand Powered Torch

The session 1 project was a look at a hand powered torch. The marketplace already has a number of torches that can be powered by hand cranking to generate sufficient energy to last for up to thirty minutes. Students were asked to rethink the market and try and establish a new niche for this environmental technology. The target market varied from utility tools for camping to designer lifestyle accessory for the Ferrari owner.
