Prerequisite Studies
The minimum requirement for a postgraduate Research Degree (PhD, Master by Research or MPhil) is an appropriate undergraduate degree, usually at honours level, in a field represented within the FBE, or another appropriate discipline. In exceptional cases students may be admitted on the basis of professional experience.
PhD applicants in addition should be able to demonstrate, through their academic record and/or through scholarly publications, their potential and capacity to conduct research in Faculty-relevant disciplines.
Applicants who do not meet these requirement may be permitted to gain admission via a qualifying program.
