admission criteria
Admission to the program is available to a wide range of graduates in both design and non-design based disciplines. The minimum requirement is a four year undergraduate degree in fields such as architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban studies real estate economics, property development, or another appropriate discipline. In exceptional cases students may be admitted on the basis of professional experience.
English Language Requirements
All applicants for admission to UNSW programs whose first language is not English must provide evidence that their English language ability meets the requirements for admission.
Accepted Tests for English Proficiency are:
International English Language Testing Service (IELTS)
Combined Universities Language Test (CULT)
UNSW Institute of Languages University English Entry Course
(UEEC)
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

AUSTRALIAN Students
Australian applicants must lodge their application not later than one month prior to the commencement of the semester in which they wish to enroll. Late applications will be considered if places are available.
INTERNATIONAL Students
All international applicants must lodge their application with the Postgraduate Section of the UNSW at least four months prior to the commencement of the semester in which they wish to enrol in order to allow sufficient time for their student visa to be processed. Addition Fee
This is a full-fee paying program for both local and international students. The Summer Field Project costs are in addition to fees. Contact the office of the Associate Dean - Postgraduate Studies for details.
