why study here

The UNSW Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree is widely regarded as one of Australasia's leading landscape studies programs. Commenced in 1974, it was the first of its kind to be offered in Australia. Since then, the program has developed a reputation for producing graduates with strong design expertise and a high level of communication and computing skills.

The UNSW Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree is accredited by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects. Equipped with this highly recognised degree, graduates may choose from a wide range of career paths. Students at the University of New South Wales are encouraged to consider the study of Landscape Architecture, both as a powerful way of thinking, and as an education for a specific vocation.

Students develop a critical awareness of social and environmental issues and a sound foundation in the technical and professional requirements of landscape architectural practice.
