During the final year of the BScArch, students complete two Research Projects. The Projects allow the students to demonstrate a synthesis of the material covered in the degree. The students first decide on the general area of their project (such as photo-realistic computer visualisation) then they find a client (usually an Architectural Practice) that is keen for them to produce a high quality professional product. Then, during the rest of the session, the student (often in close consultation with the client) produces the agreed upon project and an academic report detailing their experiences.
