The Bachelor of Industrial Design provides graduates with employment opportunities in areas such as consumer/domestic goods, electrical goods, telecommunications, digital multimedia, architectural products, automotive components, retail design, furniture and exhibition design. Opportunities also exist within the fields of marketing, packaging design and graphics. The range of industries requiring industrial designers is vast and employment opportunities are developing throughout the global economy.
Professional Recognition
The BIndDes Program at the FBE is widely regarded by industry as one Australia’s pre-eminent industrial design degrees and graduates are eligible to apply for membership of the Design Institute of Australia.
