Description:

This proposal outlines City Futures Research Centre's response the research brief forwarded by City of Bankstown Council to undertake a research project to explore the existing and projected demographic and housing market scenarios in the Bankstown local government area (LGA). The project will involve an assessment of the current demographic and housing profile in Bankstown LGA as well as an estimate of future housing need based on future demographic profiles. The findings from the project will provide a background assessment to feed into Bankstown 's revised Residential Development Strategy. This strategy will provide a planning framework for future residential growth over the next thirty years.
