The six Conference Workshops are:
Based on abstracts submitted, Conference organisers have now allocated workshop presentations. Click on the link for each Workshop, which includes time and presenter.
A comparative research workshop will be conducted to facilitate reflection on the broad conference sub-themes to explore the potential for research projects across the Asia-Pacific region.

Outline of Program:
Wednesday 5th August:
- Opening with Commonwealth Minister of Housing and International keynote speakers
- Six concurrent research workshop sessions on conference sub-themes
- Conference reception hosted by the NSW Housing Minister and Director General of the Department of Housing
Thursday 6th August:
- Key note presentations
- Two concurrent research workshop sessions on six conference sub themes
- Field Trips: up to five field trips to inner and outer Sydney developments including sites of urban renewal, estate regeneration, public – private partnerships, affordable housing, medium density housing; and a large event site. One tour will be an inner city walking tour
- Pre-Conference Dinner Drinks and Re-launch of International Journal of Housing Policy

- 3 course conference dinner and Australasian housing research awards presentation in Ballroom of Citigate Central featuring the band Shine
Friday 7th August:
- Key note presentations
- Comparative research workshop.
- Two concurrent research workshop sessions on conference sub themes
- Plenary and close
A final program will be confirmed closer to the event.
Field Trips
The conference will, thanks to sponsors, conduct up to five simultaneous field trips. All field trips are programmed for the afternoon of Thursday 6 August.
