  HMinfo, CHAA and the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission have invited Prof Edward Steinfeld from the State University of New York (SUNY), Buffalo, USA to UNSW Built Environment. Prof Steinfeld will hold a public lecture about the development of an improved evidence base for inclusive design and policy development related to visitable housing. • 4-7 AUGUST 2009 - ACHSE-CHAA National Congress - Building our Healthcare Systems around People and their Needs
  In partnership with CHAA, the ACHSE Congress was held on the Gold Coast, QLD. The focus of the scientific program for this Congress fell into three sub themes: Building People, Building Services/ Systems, Building Infrastructure. For presentations and webcasts, click here.

• HMinfo joins CHAA
  We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new staff members - Dr Catherine Bridge and her team of six researchers. Their research combines health, built environment, disability & computing to create a more inclusive environment for all. Dr Bridge is the Director of the Home Modification Information Clearinghouse (HMinfo), an on-line research project that develops & disseminates home maintenance & modification knowledge in order to improve outcomes in direct service provision, as well as improving outcomes for the general community through capacity building activities.
